Phase 1 is where physical damage is more valuable than armor penetration. Although magical damages remain top-tier during this phase, they scale better than physical DPS in the later Phases. Classes that depend on scaling will continue to be affected. Here’s the current DPS tier list:
Description of Each Tier:
- S Tier – The most powerful damage in the current Phase is dealt by classes in this tier. These characters can deal the most base damage without scaling. Because of their effectiveness, they are more likely to be recruited into Raids.
- A Tier – These characters have strong DPS specializations and provide a little bit of utility. They are reliable, even though they don’t deal as much damage in raids. They are found in all groups.
- B Tier – Classes of this rank have average to decent damage specs. These classes are still valid for Raiding, but can be easily replaced by DPS of higher tiers. They can provide some utility and buffs that can be very useful in certain situations.
- C Tier – These jobs do not have the same damage output as DPS classes but are less valuable. They can be used for other purposes than attacking and are more valued as buffers and buffs. Although they won’t be able to find parties as easily, it is possible.
- D Tier – Certain jobs are not viable for players. Even with all their utility, their DPS output does not make them reliable raiders. These classes are more likely to result in players being rejected from groups.
