Automaker Nissan India on October 1 stated its home wholesales rose over three fold to 2,816 models in September, up from 780 models in the identical month of final 12 months.

In exports, the corporate has achieved gross sales of 18,608 models within the first half of this monetary 12 months with 159% progress over final 12 months, it added.
“Buyer sentiment could be very constructive this festive season with a powerful influx of bookings,” Nissan Motor India Managing Director Rakesh Srivastava stated in a press release.
The response for the corporate’s compact SUV Magnite is powerful with over 65,000 plus buyer bookings, he added.
“The problem has been on the provision aspect with shortages of semiconductors on which we proceed to work with the provision chain companions to ship extra models of the Magnite to thrill the shoppers,” Mr. Srivastava famous.
