Maruti Suzuki sales decline 24% to 1,38,335 units in October

NEW DELHI: The nation’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) on Monday reported a 24 per cent decline in gross sales at 1,38,335 items in October.
The corporate had offered 1,82,448 items in October final 12 months, MSI stated in a press release.
Home gross sales slipped 32 per cent to 1,17,013 items final month as in opposition to 1,72,862 items in September 2020, it added.
“Whereas the scarcity of digital elements continued to have an effect on the manufacturing of autos in the course of the month, the corporate took all attainable measures to minimise the affect.
