The federal government’s items and providers tax (GST) assortment remained above Rs 1 lakh crore-mark for the third consecutive month in September, information launched by the finance ministry confirmed on Friday. The GST collections in September stood at a five-month excessive of Rs 1.17 lakh crore, 23 per cent increased than the collections in identical interval final yr.
