NEW DELHI: The outer windshield pane of a SpiceJet turboprop flying from Kandla to Mumbai on Tuesday cracked when the aircraft was cruising at 23,000 toes. It landed safely in Mumbai.
This was the second snag the airline confronted on Tuesday as one in all its Boeing 737 MAX is at the moment grounded in Karachi since morning after a technical glitch.

The Directorate Normal of Civil Aviation has ordered a probe into this.
A SpiceJet spokesperson stated: “On July 5, 2022, SpiceJet Q400 plane was working SG 3324 (Kandla – Mumbai). Throughout cruise at FL230, P2 facet windshield outer pane cracked. Pressurization was noticed to be regular. The plane landed safely in Mumbai.”
