Capital expenditure by coal CPSEs climbs 28.3%

The federal government on Wednesday stated the Ministry of Coal, via its CPSEs, has registered a 28.3% year-on-year development in capital expenditure (capex) to ₹12,605.75 crore for the interval ended December.

The Ministry of Coal, via its Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), had registered capex of ₹9,822.28 crore a 12 months earlier.

This capex achievement can be 75% of the Ministry of Coal’s annual goal, the Ministry stated in a press release.

Coal India (CIL) is likely one of the CPSEs underneath the Coal Ministry.
