AHMEDABAD: ArcelorMittal Nippon Metal India (AM/NS India) on Thursday signed an MoU with the state’s industries division, proposing funding of Rs 1.7 lakh crore in six initiatives in Gujarat. This consists of Rs 40,000 crore in renewable power, Rs 30,000 crore for growth of a ‘metal metropolis’, and an industrial cluster in Surat.
