Ambassador 2.0 to hit roads in 2 years

KOLKATA: Ambassador, as soon as referred to as the ‘Wheels of India’, might hit Indian roads once more in two years — this time with a design makeover. A three way partnership of Hind Motor Monetary Company of India (HMFCI) and French automobile maker Peugeot is engaged on the design and engine of the ‘Amby’, to be unveiled in a brand new avatar.

HM’s Chennai plant was as soon as used for the manufacturing of Mitsubishi automobiles, whereas its Uttarpara facility was devoted to manufacturing the Ambassador.
