NEW DELHI: GST collections rose 28 per cent to Rs 1.49 lakh crore on an annual foundation in July on the again of financial restoration and measures taken to curb tax evasion, the federal government stated on Monday.
In July, 2021, Items and Providers Tax (GST) collections stood at Rs 1,16,393 crore.
The collections in July this 12 months is the second highest because the introduction of GST in July 2017, the ministry stated in a press release.
