India has initiated an anti-dumping probe in opposition to imports of a sure sort of tiles, used for protecting the flooring in residential and industrial buildings, from China, Taiwan and Vietnam following a grievance by home gamers.
The Commerce Ministry’s investigation arm Directorate Basic of Commerce Cures (DGTR) is probing the alleged dumping of “vinyl tiles apart from in roll or sheet kind”.
Welspun India Restricted, Welspun Flooring Restricted and Welspun International Manufacturers Restricted had filed a petition to impose anti-dumping responsibility on the imports from China, Taiwan and Vietnam, in response to a notification of the DGTR.
The candidates, it mentioned, had alleged the dumping of the product was affecting home business which began industrial manufacturing in September 2019.
“On the premise of the duly substantiated written software by or on behalf of the home business, and having happy itself, on the premise of the prima facie proof submitted by the business in regards to the dumping… the authority hereby initiates an investigation,” the directorate mentioned.
Whether it is established that the dumping has induced materials damage to the home gamers, the DGTR would suggest an anti-dumping responsibility on these imports.
