About 1,400 placing Kellogg staff have ratified a brand new contract, their union mentioned Tuesday, ending a strike that started in early October and affected 4 of the corporate’s U.S. cereal crops.

“Our placing members at Kellogg’s ready-to-eat cereal manufacturing amenities courageously stood their floor and sacrificed a lot so as to obtain a good contract,” Anthony Shelton, the president of the employees’ union, the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Employees and Grain Millers Worldwide Union, mentioned in an announcement. “This settlement makes good points and doesn’t embrace any concessions.”
